A relaxed morning that shows you the most photogenic corners of north-west Tenerife without giving up the rest of your day. We leave Puerto de la Cruz in a premium nine-seater minibus and climb into the mountains, stopping first at Masca, a hamlet hidden inside a dramatic ravine. A photo stop at the Altos de Baracán viewpoint follows before the road drops to the coast at Buenavista del Norte. From there, the island’s public bus — the only vehicle allowed inside the protected Teno Rural Park — carries us to the Punta de Teno lighthouse, where an hour of free time awaits: swim in clear turquoise water or simply watch the Los Gigantes cliffs from sea level. Back at Buenavista we rejoin the minibus for Garachico, and a guided walk through the cobbled streets of the old port town, rebuilt after the 1706 eruption. We are back in Puerto de la Cruz around lunchtime. Please arrive fifteen minutes before departure; the route is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility, and swimming is optional.

A short photo stop on the scenic mountain road to enjoy the contrasts of the island before we descend to the coast.
3transferBuenavista del Norte — into the Teno Rural Park
Private vehicles are not allowed inside this fragile protected area, so we switch to the island’s public bus for the last stretch. The ticket is included in your price.
4HighlightPunta de Teno lighthouse
An hour of free time at the westernmost point of Tenerife, where the lighthouse stands above clear turquoise water, with the immense Los Gigantes cliffs rising right in front of you. Bring your swimsuit if you would like a dip.
5stopGarachico
We finish with a guided stroll through the cobbled streets of Garachico, once the island’s most important port, learning how the 1706 eruption reshaped the town, before the comfortable drive back to Puerto de la Cruz.
